We're a pet-loving family with over 30 years of experience in animal care. When you bring your cat to Topcats Cattery, they become part of our family.
First built and opened in 2019 in Castledillon and recently relocated to Tuckmilltown, we provide high-quality cat boarding to Kildare, Dublin, and Meath. We understand that leaving your cat is never easy, and that's why we put their comfort and your peace of mind first.
Safe, but cosy
Suites built to UK standard and specifications with sneeze barriers, thermostatically-controlled heating, and a full safety corridor.
Cared for like our own
Your cat's happiness is our priority. Each suite has a thermostatically controlled sleeping area, a play area, scratch poles, and plenty of snuggles from our team.
We've got it all
We provide bedding, toys, litter, and common food brands. Bring your own if you prefer. We can also administer basic medication.
Highest standards
We accept healthy (Neutered if male) cats over 6 months with up-to-date vaccinations (at least 2 weeks before check-in). Please bring vaccination cards.
Purpose-built building
Our cattery was designed and built from the ground up to provide the highest standards of hygiene, ventilation, and comfort. Every detail, from the layout to the materials, was chosen with your cat's wellbeing in mind.
Individual suites
Each cat enjoys their own spacious, heated suite with two levels, cosy bedding, and countryside views. Built to UK standards with sneeze barriers for hygiene.
Every suite has a cosy enclosed sleeping area and an open viewing section, so your cat can tuck away or come out and be social.
Beautiful grounds
Set in the beautiful Kildare countryside, Topcats is surrounded by expansive green fields and mature trees. It's a peaceful, quiet setting and the perfect environment for a relaxing stay.

“TopCats is THE cattery”
To anyone looking for a cattery where your cat is treated like a member of the family, TopCats is THE cattery. It is family owned and you know exactly who is minding your cat. Our cat recently stayed for a weekend and he didn't want to come home!! I kid you not! We have booked him in again for 3 weeks while we are away in July. TopCats is a fantastic facility, with the most beautiful views. Honestly, I cannot praise it enough - thank you Tanya and Mia for spoiling our lovely cat, Kenny.
